The key: make the habit come naturally.
1. HIDE IT
Hide drinking water in your regular routine. Associate drinking water with everyday events like waking up or your regular meals. Make your dinner plate feel off without a bottle of water next to it.
2. TRICK YOURSELF
Place a glass of water next to your toothbrush or on your nightstand as a reminder to drink water each morning when you wake up. Tip: Place another glass over the top to keep out dust.
3. INFUSE YOUR WATER
Drop in chopped fruits like strawberries and lemons, sliced veggies like cucumber and ginger, and herbs like mint and lavender.
4. DILUTE
If sugary drinks are a regular part of your day, add water and ice to preserve the flavor and sweetness while upping your daily dose of water.
5. PIT STOP

Every time you pass the kitchen or water cooler, fill up your bottle. Link physical locations that you pass by regularly with drinking water.
6. LOVE YOUR BOTTLE

Fall in love with a simple water bottle, and carry it with you always. Make the bottle your own with stickers and your name.
7. CELEBRATE!

When you hit your daily goal, reward yourself! Whether it’s with your favorite TV show or a sweet (but healthy) snack, be sure to celebrate your success.
8. EAT YOUR WATER

Many foods – like cucumber, bell peppers, watermelon, and grapes – have high water content. Reach for some fruits and veggies next time!
9. FILTER FOR BETTER FLAVOR

Filtered water often tastes better than your regular tap water. Try a Soma pitcher or a Bobble bottle!
10. ONE-TO-ONE

When drinking alcohol, drink a glass of water in between each alcoholic drink to prevent hangovers, stay hydrated, and counterbalance all the sugar in your mixers.
11. WATER RESET
