Vegan Sweetheart Donuts

We've got just the thing for your Valentine's Day breakfast!

These Sweetheart Donuts are vegan and 100% irresistible. The frosting is made with Grape and Fruit Punch Everly for fruity flavor and color from plants, not artificial dyes like traditional food coloring.

Whip up a batch in just under 30 mins for your sweetheart with a sweet tooth!

Vegan Sweetheart Donuts

Ingredients

Donuts

2 cups organic flour

3/4 cup coconut sugar

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1 1/3 cups vanilla almond milk 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted

2 tsp vanilla extract

Frosting

1 cup powdered sugar split

1/4 tsp Everly Fruit Punch Hydration

1/4 tsp Everly Grape Hydration

1-3 Tbsp. vanilla almond milk

Directions

Donuts

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and coat a heart shaped pan with coconut oil.

To prepare the donuts, mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix together until combined.

Spoon the batter into the baking dish.

Bake for 9-10 minutes then remove from the oven and let cool completely before frosting.

Frosting

To make the tie dye glaze, split the glaze ingredients into two different bowls.

In one bowl add Everly Fruit Punch Hydration and in the other add in Everly Grape Hydration.

The glaze should be thin enough to dip the donuts, but thick enough that the glaze sticks.

If your glaze is too thin, add more powdered sugar. if it is too thick, add more almond milk.

Dip the donuts in the Fruit Punch icing and then swirl in drops of the Grape flavor.

Let the donuts sit until the frosting firms up (about 10 minutes) and enjoy!
